Great pics, Jerry! I agree with Natalie, though, cat's rule and Sooty is gorgeous! :)

Our tortoiseshell, Abella, underneath her favourite table outside:

Is Sooty a boy? If so, I think that he and Abella would make a lovely couple! ;)

Wow - Abella looks a bit of a brute! Not sure I'd like to meet her in a dark alley.

Yep, Sooty is a boy - but he's had his bits removed. :eyebrows:

Yes, she does have a rather 'don't mess with me' look in that photo.... Aye, they make 'em tough up 'ere in the north (she's really as soft as a brush) :eyebrows:

Lara looks beautiful. Shame she had to go, but alas it comes to us all.

Marco, do you not think that your Abella looks a bit like our Charlie (a female)?

Shame about Lara:( but what a beautiful cat. I think they are gorgeous when they are white and fluffy, they tend to look like kittens, they never seem to look older.

Hi Natalie,

Yes I was thinking of the same thing when I saw Charlie.

I thought that all your cats were lovely. I suspect that you're like me, in that respect, in that I'd have a house full of them, if I had the room... I much prefer their (cheeky and independent) nature to that of dogs.

Wee fluffy cats are just so cool! :mex:

Your right, you remember when I told about those 2 decks we picked up from Penrith, the 301 and the 124. We were also invited to a live quartet which was superb BTW. Anyway, on the way back to the house we stayed at, there was this tiny ferrel kitten, couldn't of been more that 8 weeks old. I got Dom to stop the car, and tried to call it over, but it was having none of it and as I tried to approach it, the little thing scarpered, but if it had of come to me, i'm pretty sure I may taken it home, because that is what I am like. Having said that and in hindsight, it could of still been feeding from the mother, but it looked like a cream ball of fluff.

Dom and I attract cats. When we took the deck to Adam's (Beoblokes) we stayed at the hotel and there was this other cat which was a rare breed, but I cant remember the breed name, he stayed in our room all night, and when we spoke to the owner of the hotel, she said that the owner of the cat has 5 of these cats and they are a very rare breed and very expensive, but gosh he was so lovely.

Natalie;)

Never seen skys quite like that here in the UK, awesome.

Sooty looks superb (like a lion in certain respects), I bet he gets lots of fur balls though unless you groom him. Never seen a cat with fur quite like that, not the length, but he looks like he's had low lights :eyebrows:

Amazing pictures all, I might swipe em & use on a wallpaper program on my lappy ;) They are all more than worthy of display :)

I love our dog, but I do have to disagree with that, I'm afraid.
When did you last see a cat owner being led down the street on a piece of string while carrying a bag full of the cat's shite which they had to get down on their hands and knees to scrape up in full public view?

Ah they are all gorgeous. Marco does Mitze every bully Emrys? My Millie is black and white and apparently please don't quote me on this, but black and white cats are supposed to be a bit nasty, she is always hitting the other cats and telling them off, although she does defend them at the same time. Coco are youngest kit is only 7 months old but she constantly attacks Oscar in a playful way and he get's a bit fed up, yesterday she went for him playfully, but Millie told her off before I had a chance too. BTW do you guys know of any tricks that would work to stop Coco attacking the wallpaper. I don't know if you saw the wallpaper when you came on Saturday Marco, but Coco is constantly chewing at it in the corners and if I tell her off she just has a go at me:lol:, really cheeky little thing:lol:But she is adorable and cute, and she knows it:lol:

Thanks Natalie;)

Lol - it's the other way round! He's a game little thing, and I guess that being feral and because he's the boy amongst two girls, he feels brave... Probably a testosterone thing. That'll soon be sorted out next week, though, when he gets his balls 'done'! :eyebrows:

Excellent stuff, Jerry. Is that your own villa in Spain? I'm impressed that you took a cat on holiday with you :respect:

We sold up and moved to Spain back in 2001. I'd always wanted to retire to Spain since I was a wee nipper.

Not a bad little place to retire to ....

http://i262.photobucket.com/albums/ii114/jandl100/Processionalcaterpilars9.jpg

Cost us an extortionate £140k or so in 2001. :stalks: Amazing, just amazing.
We hit the Spanish property market & Euro exchange rates just right for both buying and selling. :)

We took 6 cats with us, and came back with 8 - having acquired Lara and Sooty there.

After 18 months I got homesick. .... so we moved back having lived in that super-duper villa for 2 years.

Does your missus feel the cold? A sunny day in Spain and she's wearing what looks like a jumper!

The climate (quite dry and warm, relatively speaking - I researched meteorological records going back 25 years!), property prices, and good country for hiking and cycling.
