Dan why not make something up, the originals were only low level, not exactly a massive job

I have a pair of B&W DM2a speakers. Are these the same as the DM2/II ?

I had a pair of DM IIs they had a treble adust on the rear, bought them for $80 in 1991 had them hooked up to a Cyrus 2. Good speakers, I took them to Brunei and the ferro fluid dried up.

I had a pair of 'DM2a' aswell in a drunken rage late one night i plunged a Mayware 'Formula 4' tone arm (that i literally ripped off a Michell 'Focus S' deck) through one of the Bass units & broke my wrist.

Good job I can't afford to get drunk these days - I wouldn't have a stereo system left...

:lolsign: You guys crack me up :eyebrows:

The worst thing that has happened to me is I accidentally swallowed a load of beer & it went down my lung hole... I immediately coughed the whole lot up all over my laptop keyboard which immediately refused to work....

Was just about to have a run of stuff to buy on ebay to :steam: :D

Never damaged any of my hifi kit through being drunk thankfully :)

I use an external keyboard now as there are still a few keys that refuse to work on the lappy :(

I've never damaged any of my kit either deliberately or in a drunken stupor although I did destroy a Wharfedale Linton XP2 when it slipped from my hands as I was carrying it downstairs

I also destroyed the tweeters in my dads KEF Chorales when I was little by poking them with my fingers, he was not amused. Dome tweeters fascinated me when I was a wee lad for some obscure reason :eyebrows:

Hi

Can i use any 1.6 amp fuse with these. this morning i had the unfortunate luck of messing around with the fuses and 1 completely came apart. so ive replaced them with 2 1.6 amp fuses given them a new lease of life just wondered if ok to use them.

What's the standard fuse Dan? If the new one is a higher rating simply get the correct one when you can.

You should be ok as you'd have to really crank things to do any damage :eyebrows:
