Took this snap last week whilst aboard P and O Oceana moored at Olden. I am quite pleased with it.

Lovely pic of a lovely looking place! I remember seeing a documentary about the fjords and how deep the water is!

I saw this on youtube a while ago...

This is a view of Pulpit Rock, the piece jutting out to the left. No way could I go close to the edge as in the video. Even that gives me vertigo. The skipper on the excursion boat said that eventually it will fall into the fjord. That'll be some splash.

Brilliant John! Lets see some more.

I do not plan on being on the rock when it goes either!

Just a few more. Ship is Grand Mistral, I think either Portuguese or Spanish?

One trick my camera does is to take a series of shots and stitch them together like this. Neat eh!

awesome pics, so clear and beautifully toned, and what a tranquil looking little town :) What makes is your camera out of interest?

That shot of the ship is stunning - they could use it in the brochure.

Thanks Mark. The camera is a SONY NEX-5D. Attached is a 28-200mm Tamron /Canon fit lens with an adapter to the SONY. Focusing is manual. :)
