They are brilliant!.. they have great dynamics and headroom, and great bass too for a full range driver, but their size (6 feet) would suggest siesmic bass, wheras just right would be how I would describe it. I am very pleased with them. I also have some much smaller FE103e units in RLH boxes, very nice too. And some Wharfedales...and some IMF's, but these lot rarely see the light of day since the Sachikos were finished.

Yes, I agree with Ali on the last point. You'd have a captive audiance. Right up the Owston goers street!

Well chaps I am sorry I cannot make the next meet, but I think the chap who designed them was at the last one! Scott AKA Mammoth?

If the mountain won't come to Mohammed..... I would not turn away anyone wanting to come over, just do not expect excellent cabinet fishing! ( because there isn't any!)

Hmmm... are you sure it's not 'Moose'?

Ah!... didn't know he'd joined AoS. I thought it must be 'Scottmoose' from over on WD though. :)

Cheers...

Thanks Vinnie. they really are fantastic sounding amps. It was hearing yours on my Fostex's that got me thinking and when I was told Andy had a couple going spare....well, it would be rude not to. that is a bargain there for that one on ebay, surprised you let that slip through your grasp!

I tried the Decwares on a friend's speakers, but they struggled with the 4ohm, 86bd load - but as I say, I knew what they were capable of and I have not been disappointed.

You are welcome to come round again any time you like, maybe you could bring Ian round again.
