Hi to all!

New member, although I am an active member on several other audio forums. I jist ran across this forum the last week or so, and haven't had time to lurk extensively, but it appears to be a nice forum.

I live in the US, Chicago suburbs, and have been involved in audio 2 channel systems since I was a teen in the '70s. Current system consists of Rotel RCD-855 (highly modded: Tent/PFM Flea clock; rbroer discrete output stage); Thorens TD-320 deck w/AT 440ML cart; Counterpoint SA5.1 tube preamp; Odyssey Stratos power amp; Von Schweikert VR4 GenII speakers; Kimber 8TC spk. cable and various AQ/HGA/etc. DIY interconnects.

Hi Pars. That looks like an interesting system especially the use of the PFM flea clock over the other side of the puddle.

Hi Pars,

Welcome to AOS :)

What's your first name, and where abouts in the US are you? It's a big place!

Also excuse my ignorance, chaps, but what on earth is a "PFM flea clock"?

Marco.

Hahaha... I missed that!

You see, if only people would put the information in their profiles so it shows up on the location info on their posts... ;)

Do you know what a bloody PFM flea clock is?

Marco.

Hi Kevin,

Thanks for that. All is clear now :)

The problem is, unless you're a regular PFM-er and knew of it from the D.I.Y section you'd have no idea what one was.

But where does the "flea" come into it?
